Saturday Blitz Vegas Big 12 Prediction: Baylor Wins 52-31

It pains us to pick Baylor in this game because we want it to be known that we have no respect for the Bears. How lucky can you get to have Kansas State and TCU at home this year, play no out of conference schedule, and then be first in the Big 12 thanks to a highway robbery call against TCU? Pretty darn lucky, we’d say. But still, this is a great team with a loaded offense.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma State, a team we respect, has a very weak defense this year. We’d like to give Mike Gundy and the staff for dealing with far more adversity than the Bears, though, seeing as how they had to replace their whole team, were willing to play Florida State at the beginning of the year, and didn’t make any excuses when their new starter at quarterback, J.W. Walsh, went down with a season-ending injury and was replaced by Daxx Garman.

The Cowboys just have too much bad luck working against them right now. They also, again, have no defense while the Bears have superstars all over the field on offense. That’s going to be too much for the Cowboys to handle, and Baylor will pull out an easy shootout win to stay No. 1 in the Big 12 standings and still in the thick of the College Football Playoff race. But we’re not going to lie. We hope to be wrong.
