Saturday Blitz Vegas Big ten Prediction: Nebraska Wins 31-28

The Nebraska Cornhuskers obviously had to be severely disappointed with the way they played last week, getting run over by Wisconsin in the worst way on the same level as they did in the Big Ten Championship game two years ago.

The Cornhuskers, however, had no help from their offense thanks to Ameer Abdullah being dinged up and Tommy Armstrong, Jr. playing pathetic. Still, We believe in Bo Pelini’s team to regroup and come away with a victory on Saturday at home against another very good running team. But they are not going to cover the spread.

Abdullah could still be limited, Armstrong showed he has serious issues, and the defense could get torched by another running team.

We just simply believe in Nebraska’s talent and emotions after last week to help pull them through and get the win. Jerry Kill’s Minnesota Golden Gophers will put up a fight, but it won’t be enough.

And with a Nebraska win, they could have a chance to still reach a few milestones under Pelini this year, even if they don’t win their conference.

The Cornhuskers manage to stay in the Top 25 after this weekend and knock out the Golden Gophers
