Saturday Blitz Vegas Pac 12 Prediction: Oregon Wins 65-24

This game is going to be a blowout in the worst way. We have said all year that Colorado is an improved team from last year’s 4-8 season, but the record will look worse because the schedule got much tougher in an improved Pac-12 South and with Colorado State so much better.

But we should have clarified. Colorado State is only better on offense. Defense is a completely different story. And it’s one that will keep them from even coming close to winning on Saturday.

Sefo Liufau will put up some points for the Buffaloes, but it won’t mean anything. Oregon and Marcus Mariota will add significantly to their style points, and Mariota will add a lot to his Heisman campaign after this game. Expect 5 passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown, 400 passing yards and 150 rushing yards, and 0 interceptions from Mariota. We are calling for that kind of stat-stacking, points scoring game.

The Ducks run away with this one in one of the easiest blowouts on the season. Oregon might even move up to No. 1 in the College Football Playoff Selection Committee’s rankings just because of how much they win by.
