Saturday Blitz Vegas SEC Prediction: Ole Miss Wins 21-17

Hugh Freeze, Bo Wallace, Senquez Golson, and the rest of the Ole Miss Rebels have another chance at the SEC Championship with just an Alabama loss. They’re not going to let that second chance slip away in a loss to Arkansas.

Sure, the Rebels are suffering through injuries right now and don’t have the deadly weapons we all though they had at the beginning of the year. But they still have a lot of talent, and that defense should be able to stop the Bret Bielema rush-heavy offense from doing anything significant in this game.

With this game being in Fayetteville, we know that it will be extremely close. And nobody is going to score a lot, mainly because Arkansas will keep it on the ground but have trouble moving the ball against a dominant Ole Miss defense and because Wallace is too pathetic of a quarterback to help Ole Miss score a lot in a game like this.

But even though being on the road will make this a very close game, Ole Miss is simply too good. Freeze won’t let them blow it. Ole Miss holds on in the end.
