The Entire Arkansas Razorbacks Defense (Defeated Ole Miss Rebels 30-0)

3 Forced Fumbles, 3 Interceptions, 1 Defensive Touchdown

Usually, we don’t do this. No matter how great a bunch of people play for a team in a game, we find an individual who stands out. It was flat-out impossible for us to do that with the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday.

As they pitched their second straight shutout against the Ole Miss Rebels, they forced 6 turnovers, 3 fumbles and 3 interceptions. And they were all forced by a different player. We could make a case for Martrell Spaight, who forced a fumble and was also the leading tackler on the team. But there is also Trey Flowers, who had a sack and a fumble recovery. Brooks Ellis had an interception and a tackle for a loss, and Darius Philon had a forced and recovered fumble along with a sack.

And then there was Rohan Gaines, who returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown. As you can see, the whole team together shut down the Rebels offense, so we have decided to recognize all of them. Arkansas’s defense is dominating right now after pitching two straight shutouts.

Now, they’re bowl eligible thanks to their defense. We are going to recognize everybody, because they all deserve it after playing so well on Saturday. And it’s a special thing to recognize an entire team.
