Having superstar weapons like that is what has put this team in the national championship race, but first it has to focus on taking care of business in the Big Ten. The Big Ten Championship is obviously a big deal, but the game against Michigan this Saturday still has to be a major focus. A slip-up there would be devastating. But for right now, these guys belong firmly in the top spot of the Big Ten Power Rankings.

Last week: Defeated Indiana Hoosiers 42-27

There was a bit of a scare given to the Ohio State Buckeyes by the Indiana Hoosiers in the third quarter, but with the help of one player, Urban Meyer’s squad made sure to make things right and had no trouble getting things under control pretty quickly.

That is why we are not going to knock this team down for trailing. It can happen to anybody, and don’t forget the Hoosiers beat the Missouri Tigers earlier in the year.

The explosive offense led by freshman quarterback J.T. Barrett, who has been the story of the year with his explosion into the Heisman race as a fill-in for the injured Braxton Miller, was highlighted by another superstar on Saturday. That was Jalin Marshall, who scored four straight touchdowns, started by a punt return, after the Buckeyes were down 20-14. They went up 42-20, and that was it.
