Saturday Blitz Vegas ACC Prediction: Georgia Wins 27-10
This may seem like way too big of a line, but this game right now has no implication on Georgia’s season. That means that they will beat a less talented team easily because they have no pressure.
The Bulldogs have a dominant defense that has already shut down other run-oriented offenses in Missouri, Auburn, and Arkansas, so they will easily shut down Paul Johnson’s triple-option offense this year.
Hutson Mason will do just enough, as he has done for most of the season, and Nick Chubb will have no trouble torching the Yellow Jackets on the ground. Expect another 150-yard to 200-yard performance.
Meanwhile, as Mason makes sure to avoid turning the ball over, Justin Thomas will be forced into multiple turnovers by that tough Dawgs defense, and that will set up at least 10 points for Georgia, maybe more.
This is a battle between two teams looking to be in the Top 10 and be considered elite, but Georgia’s fate is out of its hands, and its talent will surface as a result. The Dawgs win easily in Athens.
