Saturday Blitz Vegas ACC Prediction: Miami Wins 23-14
This is a game to determine if both teams go 6-6 or if Miami goes 7-5 while Pittsburgh misses out on a bowl game. The Hurricanes are trying to rebound and refocus after a terrible upset loss to Virginia last week, and that’s exactly what will happen.
Miami is a young team that simply couldn’t handle success and respect, so after playing Florida State close, which followed a string of consecutive wins, they simply felt themselves too much. This is a very talented team that was able to go back to the drawing board after that, and now Al Golden’s defense, Duke Johnson, and Brad Kaaya will regroup to have a complete performance on Saturday.
The Hurricanes are still more experienced than the Panthers, who have stocked up on incredibly young talent that is still inconsistent, and playing them at home, Miami should easily move to 7-5.
Kaaya is slowly developing into a great quarterback, and the loss to Virginia was just a bump in the road for this young team. It happens sometimes, but it won’t happen on Saturday.
Miami pulls off a decent victory, but not a blowout, to get to 7-5 on the year.
