Saturday Blitz Vegas ACC Prediction: Virginia Wins 13-10

We completely understand why there is no line for this game. It is darn near impossible to pick.

The Virginia Tech Hokies have shown all year they can beat anybody, evidenced by beating Duke and Ohio State, and they have now shown they can lose to anybody after losing to Wake Forest in double-overtime last week in one of the most pathetic offensive performances in college football history.

This is literally the most unpredictable team in college football history.

Meanwhile, Mike London and the Virginia Cavaliers are what they are. They are a tough, defensive team without a lot of stars, talent, or depth that keeps overachieving. A huge upset against Miami last week put this team back in bowl contention. And with both teams needing a win Saturday to reach bowl eligibility, we trust Virginia more than Virginia Tech to handle the pressure.

This will be a defense-heavy game with the way both teams play, and it will be incredibly boring to watch. But the Cavaliers will take the in-state rivalry this year and keep Frank Beamer’s team home for the holidays by taking care of the football and forcing at least three Hokies turnovers.
