Saturday Blitz Vegas ACC Prediction: Boston College Wins 27-10

Was this supposed to be the football rivalry with both of them in the ACC? Because if so, it looks like it’s going to be completely one-side, for now at least.

Okay, that’s unfair. Syracuse and Boston College were about on the same level last year. But this year the teams went in opposite directions. Steve Addazio has his team on the rise, while Scott Shafer appears to have lost his team completely.

Syracuse has absolutely no offense, has gone through more quarterbacks than it seems any team in college football history has, and only has a mediocre defense. The combination has made for the second-worst or worst team in the ACC.

Meanwhile, Boston College has a dominant rushing attack behind Tyler Murphy and a dominant offensive line, and Addazio has proven this program is headed in the right direction. It will easily take another step forward Saturday, blowing Syracuse off the field and having no trouble holding onto the ball for long drives.

Boston College will completely own the Orange from start to finish to get to 7-5 in an incredibly boring ACC match-up.
