Saturday Blitz Vegas Pac 12 Prediction: UCLA Wins 24-16
The Stanford Cardinal have been in most of their games this year despite falling to 6-5, and there’s no reason to think that David Shaw’s group won’t be able to do the same thing against the UCLA Bruins on Friday. But UCLA will still win.
Brett Hundley and the offense are in a serious rhythm now that might not be matched by anybody in the country, and this is the first 2-loss team desperately looking for a chance to squeak into the College Football Playoff. So things aren’t done in Pasadena yet, and they won’t let that slip away with a loss to Stanford.
The Carinal’s tough defense and efficient offense will keep this a low-scoring game, and UCLA has shown at times this year that it can be prone to mistakes. That will make things slightly difficult throughout the day.
But the Bruins have a very clutch quarterback, the offensive line has come together more, Jim Mora has done a great job as a coach, and they simply have too much to play for for them to lose this game. We are going with UCLA in a home victory to win the South.
