Saturday Blitz Vegas Pac 12 Prediction: Utah Wins 48-17

It’s safe to say that Mike MacIntyre’s Colorado Buffaloes are in worse shape his second year than they were in his first. And things are not going to get any better Saturday. Colorado will fall to 2-10 that afternoon as they lose badly to Utah in what should be a budding rivalry but is nowhere close.

The Utes eat up teams like Colorado for lunch. The Buffaloes are all passing game with Sefo Liufau and literally nothing else. Utah will run the ball down their throat with Devontae Booker, and they will be efficient when passing the ball.

The Utes will also dominate Colorado in the trenches on both sides of the ball, but it will be particularly true when they are on defense going up against Colorado’s offensive line. Utah’s rush is amazing, and expect them to give Liufau credit all night. At no point is this going to be a close game.

The Utes are trying to maintain their spot in the Top 25, so they will easily pull out a win with that in mind. And the question will be raised if MacIntyre should get the same treatment Jon Embree got after two short years at Colorado.
