Last Game: Lost to Ole Miss Rebels 31-17

Next Game: Bowl Game

The Mississippi State Bulldogs surprisingly don’t have the best strength of schedule right now thanks to their out of conference schedule, but at 10-2, with their only losses coming to Ole Miss and Alabama, we can say they have two very quality losses and enough of a resume to stay in the Top 10.

Texas A&M, LSU, and Auburn still all count as quality wins. And Arkansas is not a bad win either. But we have to say that these guys got a bit of a break when they got to play Vanderbilt and Kentucky from the SEC East, the two worst teams in an already bad division. That coupled with their non-conference schedule was enough to keep their strength of schedule lower than most SEC West teams. In fact, it is more than 50 spots below the team that beat them this past weekend, and that is very relevant as we bring you our next team in our Top 25.
