Now, the bowl game is another chance for them to gain some momentum back or completely embarrass themselves. Maybe another loss would help them for next year by making them focus more anyway.

Miami Hurricanes 6-6 (3-5)

Last week: Lost to Pittsburgh Panthers 35-23
Last rank: 8

In a more extreme case of North Carolina, the Miami Hurricanes managed to fall flat on their face the minute they started to tasted some success and see some respect as well.

With back to back losses to Virginia and Pittsburgh, teams they should have beaten, all of the praise we gave them after playing Florida State is now out the window.

The Hurricanes’ good defense and a great running game with Duke Johnson is mature, but the team with Brad Kaaya and other skill players is still very young. And Al Golden couldn’t manage their egos at the end of the season, which is the reason for the collapse. These guys needed to be knocked down a bit as well.
