Saturday Blitz Vegas Bowl Prediction: Georgia Wins 24-17

The Georgia Bulldogs aren’t facing any type of weird offense, there is no pressure on them, and they aren’t playing for anything. That’s a recipe for a Dawgs win right there. However, it will be close until the end because Louisville does have a very tough defense that could compete with some of the best defenses in the SEC. In the end, though, Georgia just has too many horses for the Cardinals to deal with, and that will be the major difference.

As great as Gerod Holliman and the Louisville secondary is, the front line can’t do anything to stop the dominant Georgia rushing attack behind Nick Chubb. Hutson Mason isn’t that great, but in his final outing, Chubb’s running will open up opportunities for him to make easy throws that are guaranteed to be successful.

Meanwhile, Louisville is mistake-prone on offense as the unit has had trouble adjusting to Bobby Petrino’s system throughout the year. The Cardinals are going up against a very good Georgia defense that really shows up with nothing on the line, so expect more mistakes that, combined with a great Georgia rushing attack, should lead to a solid Dawgs victory.

Georgia will move to 10-3 on the year, which is somewhat of a disappointment, but that is what the Dawgs are used to at this point.
