North Carolina State Wolfpack vs. UCF Knights
Line: UCF by 2
Saturday Blitz Vegas Bowl Prediction: UCF Wins 24-14
The UCF Knights have been on a serious roll the past few weeks to close out the season, and once again, George O’Leary’s team is a group of champions. This year, it has been a suffocating defense leading to that championship, and that suffocating defense will take control of a very overrated N.C. State team.
The Wolfpack and Dave Doeren finally impressed the world by picking up a decent win against the North Carolina Tar Heels to close out the season, but it doesn’t change the fact that they hardly beat anybody worth talking about this year. And while Jacoby Brissett has been a decent quarterback this year, he has struggled against good defenses with the exception of Florida State.
Meanwhile, Justin Holman has found a rhythm over the past few weeks and should have no trouble throwing the ball all over the N.C. State defense, as he has become the perfect replacement for Blake Bortles.
Oh, and this is essentially a home game for UCF, so the Knights should cruise to victory.
