Jim Harbaugh Introductory Press Conference at Michigan
Former San Francisco 49ers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh was introduced as the new coach of the Michigan Wolverines Tuesday.
Here is the full video of the press conference.
Harbaugh may have been torn about taking the job, but he appeared incredibly excited to be back at his Alma Mater. The North’s Nick Saban, and yes, our expectations for him are that big, said that he is doing what he dreamed of throughout his life.
As Interm Athletic Director Jim Hackett said, he “came home.”

And Jim Harbaugh himself said all the right things while standing at the podium. He even had the boldness to say that there are no turnarounds at Michigan, just excellence.
He said he could barely hold a thought because of his excitement and that he made the decision with his heart.
Essentially, Harbaugh said all the right things, and it is very clear he is going to give everything he has to be successful in Ann Arbor. And if his track record is any indication, that says a lot.
Only Nick Saban and Urban Meyer were more proven hires when they were hired at Alabama and Ohio State respectively, and that is still debatable. It is a 100 percent certainty that Harbaugh will succeed.
And that would have been the case regardless of if he had won the press conference.
But it’s nice that he got that first victory.
