4. California Golden Bears
Five Players: Aaron Rodgers (QB), Marshawn Lynch (RB), C.J. Anderson (RB), Justin Forsett (RB), L.P. Ladouceur (LS)
In sheer superstardom, the California Golden Bears clearly win among all of the college football teams on this list. Where do we start?
Obviously, Aaron Rodgers speaks for himself. Then comes Marshawn Lynch. But hey, Tennessee had Peyton Manning and Jason Witten along with Arian Foster. However, once you add C.J. Anderson and Justin Forsett, you have two other stars well-known in the NFL world this year.
So why, again, did Cal fire Jeff Tedford? At a school with no history, the number of players in this Pro-Bowl alone that are so recognizable should have been reason enough to keep him. We are talking franchise superstars whom everybody knows.
And they are tied with two other schools for the most Pro Bowlers with five. However, the only reason they aren’t higher is because only two were originally selected. And one of the other three is a long snapper. Who really deserves lots of credit for that?
But still, Rodgers and Lynch followed by Anderson and Forsett is a pretty stout lineup.
