2. Alabama Crimson Tide

Five Players: Mark Ingram (RB), Julio Jones (WR), Evan Mathis (G), Marcell Dareus (DT), C.J. Mosley (LB)

Obviously, there are no surprises here. Alabama has been a pipeline for NFL talent for quite a few years, even dating back to the days before Nick Saban arrived.

Still, with Nick Saban, things have helped quite a bit. The Tide have five players in the Pro Bowl and three who were selected originally. One of them is a Heisman winner in Mark Ingram, so the talk about Eddie Lacy being the only successful Alabama running back in the NFL can now end.

Julio Jones is another star that everybody knows. Then come the players that you would be used to seeing from the dominant Alabama system: an offensive lineman, a defensive tackle, and a linebacker. Evan Mathis, Marcell Dareus, and C.J. Mosley obviously provide that.

Really, Alabama can put stars anywhere on the field in the NFL it seems like except kicker and quarterback. So, essentially, if it’s a position that requires an athlete, the Tide have it somewhere.

But, if the Tide at this level of dominance can only be No. 2 on the list, who on Earth gets to be No. 1?
