10. LSU Tigers
Three Players: Odell Beckham Jr. (WR), Kyle Williams, (DT), Patrick Peterson (CB)
It was actually a bit hard to put the LSU Tigers ahead of the Florida Gators and Kansas Jayhawks because one of these selections got in due to one great catch, not a body of work, and then being hyped up by playing in the New York market. Another player got in on namesake alone, aided by a feud with Richard Sherman at the beginning of the year, despite getting beat at his position all year.
Still, these are three players at three different positions, and they all are crucial roster spots. So it was enough to put the Tigers in the Top 10.
Let’s also not that the players from the school span over a period of nearly 10 years, with Kyle Williams being drafted in 2006, Patrick Peterson being drafted in 2011, and Odell Beckham being drafted in 2014. That counts for something.
Les Miles, of course is no secret. It’s well known that he stocks the NFL with talent, and this year was no different. Taking all that into account, it is no surprise that the Tigers would make it into the Top 10 for this list.
