Completely unnoticed out of high school and then forced to go to Community College before sitting on the bench when he finally made it to Division IA, Aaron Rodgers had to fight for every bit of respect he got. But once he finally got the chance to play about a quarter of the way through the 2003 season, he didn’t disappoint.

Rodgers led the Golden Bears to an upset over the eventual co-national champion USC Trojans and took Cal to a surprising bowl berth. The next year, he took his team 10-2 and set a record for consecutive completions in an epic shootout with Leinart and the Trojans. Of course, Leinart had all the help around him, so he was the more hyped up quarterback between the two.

But once again, team success superseded actual talent, so despite proving to be the better quarterback that day, Leinart entered the draft in 2006 with a lot more hype than Rodgers did in 2005 all because his team carried him to victory. Well, who is the one who really deserved the hype?
