13. Syracuse Orange

The Orange, unlike the Panthers, managed to grab one of the biggest recruiting classes in the ACC as only Georgia Tech had more total recruits with 27 than the Orange did with 25. However with those 25 recruits, very few project to be impact players at this moment, with most of them thought to be more of the role player type.

The Orange did recruit six offensive lineman, which should help rebuild them in the trenches and hopefully build up a run game that dried up last year, after being more productive in year’s past. The most notable of the recruits is quarterback Eric Dungey, who projects to be a starter in the after this year when senior Terrel Hunt graduates. Dungey brings a dual threat game, but has a slender frame at 6’4” and just 200 lbs. Because of that he should use this year as a red shirt to learn behind Hunt as well as put some more muscle on his body to prevent any unnecessary injuries, as well as prepare for the hits he is going to take when he becomes the starter in the ACC in 2016.

Overall Orange fans should hold their breathe with this recruiting class though. Aside from depth, there is really nothing to see here.
