What a National Signing Day for the UCLA Bruins! The only shock is that they did not nail a Top 10 class. But Jim Mora and the crew still put together a great class for what they need.

UCLA scored big with the pickup of running back Soso Jamabo, who will be a perfect fit as Mora fully implements the West Coast offense he ran in the NFL. A great running back is always a key element to that. Picking up a 5-star quarterback in Josh Rosen is also a huge deal, as is 5-star defensive end Keisean Lucier-South seeing as how, like every Pac-12 team, UCLA needed a massive defensive upgrade.

But the biggest upgrade the Bruins needed was on the offensive line, and 4-star offensive linemen Josh Wariboko, Andre James, and Tevita Haialilo was huge along with 3-star offensive lineman Fred Ulu-Perry.

The Bruins built this class around getting more depth, more physical, and simply more talent. All of that should work out in the end for Mora, and it doesn’t hurt that he managed to fill his losses in this class as well.

Watch out. The UCLA Bruins are here to stay as a factor in the Pac-12 South and Southern California football.
