1. USC Trojans

Rivals Class Rank: No. 1

There is absolutely no debate here. The USC Trojans picked up the best recruiting class in the Pac-12 and the best recruiting class throughout the country.

So much for questions about Steve Sarkisian’s recruiting.

USC did not only get the No. 1 class. It got the deepest class and the best selection of players to fill needs that you could ask for. The Trojans going in have been set on offense for years and needed upgrades on defense. This class gave them that.

All four of USC’s 5-star recruits are defensive players in defensive end Rasheem Green, linebackers Porter Gustin and John Houston, and defensive back Iman Marshall. The rest of the class was also loaded with defensive talent as well as talent on the offensive line to get the Trojans more physical.

Thanks to this class, Sarkisian has completed the team, and USC is ready immediately to compete for championships. That should come with the experience the rest of the team has coming back and the depth built behind this class, along with the upgrades that it brings.

USC is back, and they put together the perfect class to emphasize that.
