Oklahoma Sooners-50 Cent

The success of the Oklahoma Sooners that propels them into one of the greatest programs in college football history is not spread out. It is confined to a few spots in history that were unprecedented.

The same is true for 50 Cent.

Fiddy achieved massive, unprecedented success with Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and The Massacre. The success of those two albums alone are enough to tower over the entire careers of most other rappers, similar to the 47-game winning streak the Oklahoma Sooners had in college football.

Get Rich or Die Tryin’ represents that winning streak, as it is possibly the most successful rap album and the most successful college football run in history. The Massacre is like the Barry Switzer era, as both were amazing successes.

And Curtis, the third album, still went platinum, so we’ll call that the success of the Bob Stoops era.
