Texas Longhorns-Kanye West

Texas is a very successful college football program that still manages to turn you off of it because it tends to act like it is the only college football program worth ever existing and the place that everybody in the world wants to be at.

Sounds like Kanye West to me.

The unwarranted arrogance of ‘Ye is exactly like that of Longhorns fans. Both are great, both are etched in history at what they do, but both annoy you with their excessive talk much more than they entertain you with results.

Texas last was relevant in 2009. Kanye’s last decent album was My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and that is seriously debatable. The last great work you can celebrate from both is the Texas National Championship and Kanye’s “Late Registration” album.

Both happened in 2005.
