Biggest Question: Can everybody stay healthy?

Spring practice is a scary time for lots of football teams, players, and fans. And that is going to be especially true for Hugh Freeze and the Ole Miss Rebels this year, starting with some already bad luck this offseason.

The Rebels still appear to be on the right track for the future, but they already have an injured offensive lineman going into practice, where they are very thin, and it hurt to lose a 5-star lineman to Tennessee.

On top of all that, superstar players like Laquon Treadwell are back to running again, but he has got to stay healthy if he plays at all in the Spring, and anybody else who plays wants to stay healthy.

The injury bug bit the Rebels extremely hard this past year, and they were not the same team obviously after that happened because Freeze has not yet built up the depth you want to have as a powerhouse, although he is getting there.

So for this year’s spring practice, knowing Bo Wallace’s departure only means an upgrade at quarterback when things get tough and knowing there is an immense amount of skill depth but thinness in the trenches, Ole Miss needs to focus this entire Spring on simply getting healthy.
