Biggest Question: Who will step up at quarterback for the Wolverines?

We all know about Jim Harbaugh at Michigan and all the hype surrounding him. Unfortunately, he is walking into a train wreck in Ann Arbor right now, so there are a ton of things he has got to shape up.

The first order of business is finding a quarterback, which could be much harder than it appears. Of course, the pathetic play of Devin Gardner was bad enough.

But a candidate to replace him right now is Shane Morris, who was also terrible this past season. The other candidates are redshirt freshman Wilton Speight and Alex Malzone, who was highly recruited.

All will be able to compete during the spring for the job, which is a huge deal because it gives Harbaugh an early jump. And we could probably put our faith in him to do a better job with quarterbacks than Hoke did.

And the best news is these guys are all underclassmen, so he’ll at least have a future with whomever he picks to play the position.

Still, if he can’t find somebody to be the starting quarterback by the end of the spring, he could be in some serious trouble for at least this season.
