College football is by far the easiest sport, even easier than Major League Baseball, for a team to have a national title on its resume.

After all, before the days of the BCS, and in some cases even during the BCS, any school could have a claimed national championship as long as one poll placed them at No. 1. The result is a split national champion almost every year up until 1998, and schools have still managed to go back and retroactively claim national championships.

Nevertheless, there are quite a few great college football programs that do not have one claimed national title on their resume, at least at the FBS level. So who are they?

This post ranks the Top 10 programs to never win a national championship, using multiple criteria, including undefeated seasons, level of competition, years on the big stage, and how recently these programs have been good.

Everything is fair game. Here are the Top 10 college football programs in FBS with no national championships.
