10. Fresno State Bulldogs

Take a look back through the history books of the Fresno State Bulldogs, and you’ve got a program that never runs away from elite competition, has a 565-387-27 (.591) record, and has 26 conference championships along with 12 postseason wins.

Fresno State may have no national titles, but the Bulldogs have got everything else you could ask out of a mid-major program.

They have produced two legendary coaches in Pat Hill and Jim Sweeney, they have 13 guys in the NFL right now, including potentially future star quarterback Derek Carr, and they have produced No. 1 draft picks in the past along with Super Bowl winning quarterbacks.

Fresno State has always been the slept on program in the state of California, but even without a national championship, it has been relevant historically and recently. As a result, they belong on this top 10 list of college football programs to never win a national championship.
