Plenty of teams that have high expectations going into this season. Here are the Top 10 college football teams who will be overrated for 2015.


Spring practice has barely begun, and we’ve already been given a list of the way-too-early Top 25 programs, programs set to take off this year, programs who will have bad years, and players who have the most hype.

Heck, even we at Saturday Blitz have played our role in predicting things very far in advance.

As the number of services giving predictions continues, it gets easier to compile the teams who have major expectations going into this season. And, quite honestly, there is a chance some of those teams will be significantly overrated.

As always, certain teams get far too much hype heading into the season because of a few overhyped factors, and this year is no different. Here, we’ll take a look at those teams.

This is not to say that these teams will be good or bad, and it is also not always defining of the trajectory of the program, but it is to say that they are likely to underachieve and not reach the expectations that will be set for them once the Fall hits.

So here is how the 10 college football teams who will be overrated heading into the 2015 season are ranked.
