The Orange-White spring game featured a number of great plays, especially from wide receiver Mike Williams who had an amazing one-handed catch, but it was also a spring game without Clemson’s best player, quarterback Deshaun Watson who is recovering from ACL surgery.
Despite the absence of Watson, which was expected, there were some important performances, including Nick Schuessler who impressed at quarterback for both teams. He threw for 201 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Williams.
The talented wide receiver finished with 105 yards on the afternoon and running back CJ Davidson had 100 yards on only six carrier and two touchdown runs.
