1. Nate Sudfeld Returns
Indiana is not Ohio State. Obviously… so when their starting quarterback goes down in a mid-October game against Iowa, they do not have a 5 star recruit like a J.T. Barrett or a Cardale Jones to save the day. Indiana was forced to play freshman Zander Diamont, who was not ready to take the reins of an offense in the middle of Big Ten Conference play.
Indiana proceeded to lose the next five conference games and never passed for over 180 yards during that stretch. For the Hoosiers to field a competent team in 2015, Sudfeld will have to start under center and stay healthy for the upcoming season.
Before Sudfeld was injured for the season, he was completing over 60 percent of his passes and the Hoosiers were 3-2. In those three wins, one of the came on the road against the SEC East champion Missouri Tigers. Sudfeld has shown that he has the talent to play with the big boys, but can he sustain a high level of play for an entire season?
