Offensive Tackle. LSU Tigers. La'el Collins. 10. player. 51.
Quarterback is an issue for the St. Louis Rams, but given the determination of Jeff Fisher, the most overrated coach in American history, to want to stick with pro-style quarterbacks, they will not want to go for Marcus Mariota. He can’t thrive without the right offensive system.

So, perhaps they should beef up their line to help their quarterbacks not get injured. La’el Collins does just that at tackle.

The LSU Tigers had a lot of growing pains as a young team last year, but Collins had no problems and helped to bring everybody along. Recognized as the top offensive lineman in the SEC, Collins cleared the way for Leonard Fournette, Terrance Magee, and Kenny Hilliard on the ground.

And with his help, Anthony Jennings was only sacked 22 times, when his terrible pocket awareness should have gotten him sacked 50 times. At 6’4″ 305 pounds, Collins is a guy who uses his amazing physical attributes to be able to block.

But he still has to work on his consistency and ability to finish plays, which will come with more technique. That should easily come in St. Louis. What Collins has already done on the field counts, and that’s why he should be drafted here.
