Which SEC players are going to hear their name called early during the NFL Draft and who projects as the best pro?

The SEC has been at the top of the college football with the deepest league in the nation, despite not having won the national championship the last two years, the collection of talent throughout the league was unrivaled.

That shouldn’t come as a surprise considering how well the coaching staffs recruit and annually bring in more five-star recruits than their counterparts and from top to bottom pay their coaches more than other conferences so the talented recruits are getting great coaching so they live up to their potential.

After three-five years on campus they are ready to be unleashed on the NFL where they steal the show at the Scouting Combine and their pro days before hearing their name called early on draft night.

This year’s crop of SEC talent could see as many as eight drafted in the first round, with the possibility that as many as 10 players could hail from the SEC. Not bad when 1/3 of the picks in the first round are coming from one conference.

With the NFL Draft beginning on Thursday, here’s a look at the top prospects from the SEC and where they are projected to be drafted.
