What if college football coaches were Star Wars characters? This is a great question to ask.
After all, Star Wars is one of the greatest franchises ever, and college football is the greatest sport ever.
Many characters in Star Wars are mentors, similar to what coaches are supposed to be. Other Star Wars characters are flat-out comical. That’s also true of many of the coaches.
Without leaving out the most important characters or the biggest coaches, we have put together a list of coaches who would match perfectly with Star Wars counterparts. Any active coach who won a national championship or retired coach who has a national championship since the BCS Era began is on the list.
