Frank Beamer: Bail Organa

One of the greatest tragedies of college football is that Frank Beamer will likely not come away with a national championship in his college football coaching career. But he is one of the most respected, and admired coaches of all time who commands the respect of everybody around him.

And he is forgotten about among coaching greats.

Bail Organa was the same. He launched the rebellion, signed the original treaty opposing Emperor Palpatine that launched the fight against the Galactic Empire. But he is also forgotten about among great Star Wars heroes.

And the tragedy with him is that, in addition to not being Force Sensitive, is that he died during the destruction of Alderaan. Because of that destruction, Organa was not even able to see the Rebellion become what it would eventually be. After his death, many star systems began to break from the Empire, and then they openly joined after the destruction of the first Death Star before finally causing its ultimate demise.

Organa missed it all, but he would have been willing to die for it. And Beamer is somebody who seems willing to sacrifice a national title for a great career and doing things the right way.
