If Golson doesn’t find a home at a Power 5 school one of his best options could be at SMU where first-year head coach Chad Morris could tap into his potential and extract al the good things that Golson does on the field and limit the bad things he does on the field. It would give him a proven player and winner for a program in serious need of both of those traits. This could be a springboard toward Morris getting his quarterback in place in 2016 and use Golson as an example of what he can do, as if his track record at Clemson and Tulsa isn’t enough.
