He received offers from all over the country. Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina and Tennessee were all vying for his services, but the in-conference recruiting battle was ultimately won by Auburn over LSU and Mississippi State who were his finalists.

Broussard noted Rhett Lashlee, Auburn’s offensive coordinator and the man responsible for recruiting the cornerback’s area was a contributing factor to his commitment.
One major deciding factor Broussard noted was the opportunity for early playing time where the 6-1, 164-pound corner can use his length to make an immediate impact in Will Muschamp’s secondary.
This is a huge commitment for Auburn as it tightens up their secondary The Tigers are expected to add more pieces to their defense in the coming months and it will be interesting to see if they can snag another gem as they continue to try to make waves on the recruiting trail.
He is the sixth commitment for this year’s class that ranks No. 27 in the nation and No. 10 in the SEC, according to the 247Sports team rankings.
