“The entire recruiting process has been very educational. My parents, coaches and school administrators have been very supportive of me during the past year. I never felt overwhelmed, however, I am relieved and very confident in my selection of the University of Tennessee”, said Okonya, via Scout.
“Tennessee has an excellent business school, tremendous academic resources, world-class athletic facilities and a very passionate fan base. Most importantly, I have developed a really sound relationship with the coaching staff. Tennessee is the school where I felt most comfortable calling my next home”.
With tonight’s commitment from Okonya, Tennessee now owns the nation’s No. 11 recruiting class and the No. 5 class in the SEC, according to the 247Sports team rankings.
