USC added to their 2016 recruiting class on Monday morning with the commitment from wide receiver Josh Imatorbhebhe.

The USC Trojans added four-star wide receiver Josh Imatorbhebhe (Suwanee, GA. North Gwinnett) to their recruiting class on Monday after the 6-2, 205-pound receiver revealed the decision in a video on Bleacher Report.

Imatorbhebhe’s decision to commit to USC comes a little less than six weeks after he received his offer from the Trojans after taking an unofficial visit to USC on April 6. He picked USC over Florida, where his older brother signed in 2015 and offers from the likes of Auburn, Alabama, Miami, Georgia, Ohio State, among others.

He ranks as the nation’s No. 177 player overall regardless of position, No. 33 wide receiver and the No. 16 ranked recruit in the state of Georgia, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Imatorbhebhe caught 59 passes for 1,072 yards and 15 touchdowns last year as a junior.

With today’s commitment from Imatorbhebhe’s, USC moved up five spots from No. 15 to No. 10 in the 247Sports team rankings and moved within two spots of rival UCLA for the top class in the Pac-12. Look for these two rivals to jockey back and forth for bragging rights for the league’s best recruiting class throughout the summer, fall and into the winter until National Signing Day in February.

USC now has eight recruits committed for Steve Sarkisian’s 2016 recruiting class and Imatorbhebhe is the second wide receiver commit, joining Velus Jones Jr. (Saraland, AL).
