College Football Coaches Reimagined as Harry Potter Characters

Severus Snape – Bobby Petrino
One of the most suspicious characters in the Harry Potter series was Professor Snape. It was hard to gauge whether he was good or bad, whether he was on Dumbledore’s side or Voldemort’s side. Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino’s personal life is similarly very messy (if not more messy). He’s made some questionable life choices that make him look more suspicious than respectable.
However, Snape also proved to be one of the most loyal (and tragic) characters in the entire story. Almost all of his actions were born out of his love for Lily Potter, Harry’s mother. While Petrino took head coaching jobs with many organizations, he has ultimately found himself back in Louisville. He first spent a year with the Cardinals as an offensive coordinator, went back as a head coach a few years later, and became the head coach again last season. I’m not sure it’s love on par with Snape’s, but Petrino certainly has some kind of love for the Louisville Cardinals to be back again.
