The black jerseys from Iowa are something you don’t see every Saturday and I wish more schools would adopt a black alternate jersey as part of their wardrobe, but the Hawkeyes pull it off so well.

Iowa’s gold pants with the black stripe down the side complements the black helmet with the Hawkeye logo on each side with a thick and bold yellow stripe running down the middle. It’s good and clean Midwestern sensibility here.
