The 6-4, 290-pound defensive tackle is the nation’s No. 255 recruit overall regardless of position, No. 23 defensive tackle and the No. 16 recruit in the Pelican State, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Ranked as a defensive tackle on the recruiting sites, LSU sees Logan as a defensive end, a position he also plays at Destrehan.
“They have told me they like me at defensive end, and that’s good with me, Logan tells Shea Dixon of Geaux247. “I will play wherever. I like both positions. I am accustomed to playing both at Destrehan, so I know I can play wherever they put me. I’m just happy for the opportunity.”

LSU annually ranks among the best schools when it comes to signing and developing defensive lineman but the hiring of defensive line coach and noted ace recruiter, Ed Orgeron, as he was Logan’s secondary recruiter, along with fellow ace recruiter Frank Wilson.
Logan chose the in-state program over offers from the likes of Alabama, Texas, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Oregon and Ohio State, among others.
With today’s commitment from Logan, LSU moved up one spot to the No. 5 class in the nation and the No. 2 class in the SEC, according to the 247Sports team rankings. He is commitment No. 11 for the class and the second defensive lineman, joining five-star defensive tackle and St. Thomas Aquinas product Edwin Alexander.
