Forget for a moment that Paul Chryst is about to bring back that physical running style of play Wisconsin was always known for and continued despite the efforts of Gary Andersen to stop it. A school’s reputation in general should precede it. And regardless of the system, the Badgers have always churned out offensive linemen who become stars in the NFL.

Marz is just the next in line. Let’s not act like, despite his supporting cast, he didn’t have a role in Melvin Gordon’s incredible season last year. He may lose points for his help, but he gains points since he had no passing game to help him out.

This year, it should be more of the same, and when, not if, Corey Clement burst onto the scene as another superstar running back for the Badgers, Marz will get the credit he deserves and be a very high draft prospect next year at 6’5″ 321 pounds.

Tackle-Senior, Wisconsin Badgers

Most analysts would have Tyler Marz possibly on their lists of top offensive linemen for next year’s draft, but they would not have him this high. After all Marz was surrounded by a ton of talent on the line last year, and the conventional wisdom is that his draft stock will fall without those guys as he plays this year.

I don’t subscribe to that conventional wisdom.
