The 6-0, 252-pound four-star recruit is the nation’s No. 126 overall recruit, No. 6 inside linebacker and the No. 4 in Virginia, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Yulee is the first linebacker commit for Nick Saban’s class that now has 12 players deep.
Yulee has the prototypical size you want in a 3-4 inside linebacker in Nick Saban’s defense. He is big and strong enough with the instincts to make plays in the backfield. Plus, he’s got the athleticism and reactionary speed to make plays on either sideline.
His commitment came as a bit of a surprise. Yulee picked Alabama over offers from North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Michigan State and Florida State, among others.

After today’s commitment from Yulee, Alabama has the No. 8 recruiting class in the country and the No. 4 class in the SEC behind Georgia, LSU and Ole Miss, according to the 247Sports team rankings.
