Brown thrived in the Oregon Ducks system last year before he got hurt, catching 25 passes for 420 yards and six touchdowns. Remember, he is in a system that spreads the ball around to lots of receivers, and he was putting up those numbers as a tight end without even playing a full season.

Brown provides the perfect mismatch size-wise at 6’6″ 250 pounds, and yes, he is more of a big receiver than he is a blocker, but it is not like he can’t block. He can get as physical as anybody and has shown it plenty of times throughout his career.

If he can get back to full health and perform at some point this year, he will shoot up the draft board. If the recovery takes even longer, than obviously he is a risk.

Pharaoh Brown

Senior, Oregon Ducks

Before suffering a serious injury toward the end of last season that threatened his career, Pharaoh Brown was supposed to be a lock to be a high pick in the NFL Draft. Obviously, his focus now just has to be on getting back to form, as all reports indicate he is determined to return next year.

That hesitancy over how healthy he can be is the only reason he is not higher on his list, though.
