Flo Rida- GDFR ft. Sage The Gemini and Lookas

We are with the University of Florida, so that means doing a Flo Rida song. The Florida Gators always have been known for cutting-edge, unique offensive systems that have helped them dominate the SEC at different times over the past 30 years.

They went from the Fun-n-Gun to the spread. They are not successful unless they do extremely fun music.

Not only is Flo Rida the perfect representative for the Gators because Florida is his home state and his namesake, but he is also the perfect representative because, like the Gators, his success is built on extremely fun music.

GDFR is the perfect song from him because the sound is a perfect fit for a marching band. The beginning can be played by the lower bass instruments, and then the french horns can play the part where he says “It’s going down for real.” The fans could even get involved by shouting that part out for everybody to hear and every opposing team to be annoyed with. Then come the trumpets for the part directly following that.

It would be epic if Florida were to just play that part on quick good plays and then the full song after touchdowns.
