This is the first of a six-part series in which we suggest new college football fight songs for FBS teams. Here are the suggested new fight songs for SEC teams.


As already mentioned, it is time for new fight songs for colleges. That is not to say that they should not keep the traditions and fight songs they have already developed. It is to say that we should add more flavor to it with new music.

So let’s move out of the Power Five for a minute with these teams.

Lots of Group of Five teams are relevant in the college football landscape right now, so some of them are entitled to advice on what they should do for new fight songs.

Many of these teams should pick underdog theme songs given the fact that they likely feel they have no respect as it is. Many of these songs are about being disrespected and taking respect that they were not earned. After all, when Group of Five teams go undefeated, they upset the college football order the way many artists brag about upsetting the establishment.

We will go into detail for each team.
