This is the third of a six-part series in which we suggest new college football fight songs for FBS teams. Here are the suggested new fight songs for ACC teams.
Welcome to ACC football. As we continue with our suggested fight songs for every FBS team, we hit a bit of a road block in this conference.
Our suggestions are based on these teams’ football programs, but most of the members of the ACC are basketball schools. That means that their fight songs should be dictated by something related to their basketball programs.
But we are going to do our best to stick with football.

After all, the ACC has plenty of hardcore football schools, from Florida State to Clemson to Miami to Virginia Tech to partially Notre Dame (who is in this post). Add in Georgia Tech and Boston College, schools who do not completely ignore football, and there are quite a few schools where football still matters.
So how do we determine new fight songs for these teams? Well, we will pretty much do it the same way we have done it so far, by finding songs that match exactly what the program is known for from a football perspective.
And we have to find something that will always be relevant about the school, not just what makes it relevant currently.
So, with our best effort, here are the suggested college football fight songs for every ACC school.
